Recently, a delegation from Indonesia's PLN IP and BRESSEN visited Exax Energy. Accompanied by Ping Fu, Director of International Marketing, they toured the world's first commercial-scale Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Energy Storage Project in Wuhu and engaged in in-depth technical discussions at Exax Energy's Xi'an branch. This onsite visit marks both the culmination of prior online exchanges and a clear signal of Exax Energy's accelerated push into global markets-its core CCES (Carbon Dioxide Compressed Energy Storage) technology is demonstrating strong competitiveness and emerging as a key solution for global energy transitions.

As the largest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is grappling with a critical challenge: the rapid growth of renewable energy has significantly outpaced the development of supporting energy storage infrastructure. With its archipelagic geography, fragmented power grids, and rapidly expanding installations of wind and solar power, the country faces an urgent need for energy storage solutions that are efficient, flexible, and adaptable. Exax Energy's independently developed CCES technology, with its core strengths of long-duration storage, large capacity, high adaptability, long service life, and zero performance degradation, directly addresses these pain points in Indonesia's energy transition journey.

Since its establishment in September 2021, Exax Energy has been committed to becoming a "global leader in energy-carbon integration," with a strategic focus on large-capacity, long-duration energy storage. Leveraging continuous technological innovation, the company has built a robust core competitiveness. With over 70% of its R&D team dedicated to cutting-edge research, Exax Energy has jointly founded the "Advanced Energy Storage System & Power Equipment Research Center" with Xi'an Jiaotong University, achieving consistent breakthroughs in next-generation CCES technologies. The company holds more than 80 globally unique invention patents and over 180 proprietary processes and material formulations, making it the only enterprise in China capable of establishing a complete, end-to-end CCES supply chain.
As the global energy transition accelerates, long-duration energy storage technology has become a crucial enabler for countries striving to meet their "dual carbon"goals and ensure energy security. Exax Energy, with its technological innovations in CO₂-based energy storage, not only fills a critical industry gap but has also emerged as a preferred solution for global clients seeking reliable and sustainable energy storage systems.
The visit by the Indonesian delegation is a microcosm of Exax Energy's growing global influence. As more international cooperation projects move forward, Exax Energy will continue to drive the global energy transition through its advanced technologies, expand its international footprint, and elevate Chinese energy storage solutions onto the global stage — pioneering a new era of international collaboration in energy storage.
