Exaᕽ New Energy carbon dioxide energy storage is a gas-liquid mutual rotation, two-state collaborative energy storage technology that does not rely on geological conditions, has low pressure and temperature levels, high reliability, and low cost. The basic principle is to use excess electricity during the low electricity consumption period to compress carbon dioxide gas at room temperature and pressure into a liquid, and store the heat energy generated during the compression process; During peak electricity usage, the stored heat energy is used to heat liquid carbon dioxide into the gaseous state, driving a turbine to generate electricity.
The Exaᕽ New Energy carbon dioxide energy storage system has completely independent intellectual property rights, and has a wide range of power levels, capacities, and regional adaptability. It has excellent economic benefits in large capacity long-term energy storage, especially suitable for 10MW, 100MW, and 1000MW long-term energy storage systems. The key core technologies for system design and manufacturing are fully autonomous and controllable, and the nationwide production of power equipment has been achieved.
Drive the compressor to compress carbon dioxide gas at room temperature and pressure into a liquid state, and store the liquefied carbon dioxide in a high-pressure device.
Collect the thermal energy generated during the process of compressing carbon dioxide and store it in a heat storage device.
Utilizing low-grade heat to gasify liquid carbon dioxide, the stored heat promotes its expansion and drives a turbine to rotate for power generation.
Store the expanded carbon dioxide gas at room temperature and pressure in a low-pressure gas storage unit for the next cycle.
The construction cost is significantly lower than that of pumped storage. The cost of system can be as low as 0.2 RMB/kWh
